Tune Reviews 002

Just Garage are back with the 2nd edition of tune reviews. Artists featuring in this selection of tune reviews include: DJ Phyzical, S.K.T, Oggie & Swiftee, Chuwy Beats, Jay Harvey, Meat & Drink, Mark House Productions and the massive M.I.Raw Camp

DJ Phyzical - Hooked On You

A good quality UK Garage tune, one that will appeal to the ladies. Vocals accompany the 2step beat very well and this is a track everyone should own, no excuses, especially as it was available recently as a freebie on the uptown records forum. Looking forward to hearing more releases from DJ Phyzical. For more information and to hear the track, check out Phyzical's myspace at:
www.myspace.com/djphyzical

Miami Superfly Boys Ft Sweet Female Attitude - So Damn Crazy (S.K.T Remix)

This track features the ladies who brought you the garage classic, flowers. None other than Sweet Female Attidue who appear alongside Miami Superfly Boys on this one entitled 'So Damn Crazy'. The track has fallen into the hands of the up and coming producer, S.K.T who has given it a 4x4/bassline remix. I predict this one will be a summer club smasher up and down the country and on the holiday islands. For more information and to hear the track, head over too
www.myspace.com/djskt

Holly Harisson - Tell Me - S.K.T Mix

A funky bassline anthem, this time S.K.T switches the flavours on this one featuring the vocal talents of Holly Harrison. This track has great potential to tap into a few different markets and i reckon youll hear the track alot in the coming months being mixed and chopped into uk garage, bassline and funky house sets everywhere. Track also has the potential to do very well commercially. Remember who told you first. Again for more information and audio check out:

Swiftee & Oggie - Should Have Known Better

Okay, well, if you thought this track would be anything but brillaint, then as the title says you 'Should Have Known Better' Oggie delivers the goods on this bassline beat, following on from All I Wanna Do (as featured in the 1st edition of track reviews) this time accompanied by Swiftee. Oggie's catalogue of music just keeps improving and this one should do well over the summer months with all the bassline hype at the moment. It's great to hear more and more bassline tunes being made with catchy vocals and this ones exactly that. Expect the big names in the bassline scene to be caining this in the clubs and on the radio. For more information, check out

Chuwy Beats & Jay Harvey - Problems

This link up see's Chuwy Beats, the producers behind the massive garage remixes of 'Just A Little More Love' and 'Shes Like The Wind' amongst many many others, team up with one of the leading male vocalists within the UK Garage scene, Jay Harvey on this track entitled 'Problems'. A mellow bassline track, in comparison with alot of bassline that being produced at the moment, that accompanies Jay Harvey's vocal's very effectively. Another one that should do well in the coming months. For more information, check out:

Kingring Corporation ft Sara J - 'Throw Your Fears Away' - Meat & Drink Remix

This track is one of the mixes featuring on 42TF recordings 1st release. Meat & Drink have engineered this electro meets bassline remix that will appeal to both fans of the electro & bassline genres equally. Very good mix to have on the release, currently being battered by a whole host of radio & club DJ's including 42TF and Freeze Fm's very own DJ Elski. There's no doubting it, this is a track that definitly needs to be in your record box, NO EXCUSES. For more information lock into the 'RadioKillaz' show on freeze 92.7 fm each and every wednesday, 10pm through to midnight. or alternatively check out:

Flo Rida - Low - Mark House Productions 4x4 Remix

Mark House Productions give the RnB 2008 anthem 'Low' by Flo Rida a 4x4 rework. Good Remix, one that can be dropped into a set that will catch the RnB fans attention. Nice bouncy beat than you bop your head to, guaranteed to get the club moving with this one. Would recomend playing this out when switching up the tempo and switching between genres to keep the crowds interest. Just one of a number of RnB remixes that Mark House Productions are currently working on, Also, all you Big Brother fans out there, get over to his myspace and check out the 2008 Bassline Big Brother Remix. More information over at:

Elisabeth Troy & Ed Case - Past Love - Trak D Remix - M.I.Raw

An absolutly massive rework of the anthem 'Past Love' delivered by Trak D. A bassline banger that will get the crowd moving and is definitly one of the best bassline remixes ive heard in a while. Another great track being released by the M.I.Raw label, who keep coming up with the goods within the bassline genre at the moment. Check out:
www.myspace.com/miraw

DJ Pyper & Colour Girl - Joyrider - M.I.Raw

Again, as with the track above, this a great 2008 bassline remix of an original UK Garage classic. Joyrider gets a 2008 rework from DJ Pyper, who delivered the goods before with his 2008 remix of 'Genius Crew's - Boom Selection 2008' and has followed it up with another good quality remix that should appeal to both the bassline lovers, and the old school uk garage crowd. Tony Portelli's doing the bassline scene proud with his selection of bassline releases at the moment! For more information, again check out:
